Remembering

Amelia dressed in her red, white, and blue on Sunday in remembrance of September 11. It is almost unimaginable that it happened 10 years ago. I was talking to my third graders about it and realized they weren't even born when it happened! To me, it still seems like something that has occurred recently, but then I realize it is actual history that is now being taught to those like my students and someday, my daughter. We will never forget the events of that day and those who were lost.
