Miss Amelia really didn't want her picture taken today!
This past Saturday, we all walked in a 3K memorial walk for a past student of mine, Mady Darnell, who was killed in a car accident last year. It was bittersweet, seeing all my past and current students there for such a great cause to raise money for her scholarship fund. Despite the horrible weather (cold, rainy, and dreary), they actually had a good turnout. Amelia made it almost the whole course, then she was ready to head home. Good thing we weren't far! Maybe next time some of us will run the course!
