This past weekend, we went to a princess birthday party...Amelia's cousin, Kali, turned one! Of course, Amelia wore a "princess" outfit to join in the fun at the party! Thanks to Uncle David, Aunt Becky, and cousins Bethany, Madison, Savannah, and Max, Amelia had the perfect pink princess onesie from Disney-complete with a frilly tutu! Add a pink satin bow and leggings, and she was ready to party! Well, actually, not really, because she only took a 45 minute nap (instead of 2-3 hours) before the party so we were a little fussy, but we made it! Amelia did enjoy watching all the other kids and babies play. She is a very observant-or nosy-little girl!
Update on Amelia's newest "tricks": she now growls when she's excited about something, waves her arms up and down so fast I think she's trying to fly, and makes a "mmmmmmmmmmm" sound EVERY time she has a bite of solid food. She's also doing laps around the house in her walker, which she absolutely loves!
