Poor Amelia had to have her two month shots at her checkup yesterday. She was given one oral vaccine, and then three shots in her thighs. Good thing they are a little chunky! The doctor used some numbing spray beforehand and that seemed to help. It took her a minute for the first shot to register, then she cried pretty hard, but only for a few minutes. She settled down before we even left the room. What a good baby! It definitely helps that we love our pediatrician. He is awesome. We swear he had all four vaccines administered one-handed in less than 20 seconds. That includes applying the band-aids! Which, of course, mommy had to get some pictures!
